By using Aerostructures Toolkit, you agree to use it only as a general learning and quick-reference aid. The app is provided as available without a promise that every item is complete, current or suitable for a particular aircraft, task or organisation.
You remain responsible for confirming every part number, material, specification, finish, size, substitution, effectivity and application against current approved data. You must follow applicable law, employer rules and authorised maintenance procedures.
Aviation safety disclaimer
This app is not approved maintenance data and does not replace an SRM, AMM, CMM, IPC, engineering order, repair drawing, manufacturer instruction or your organisation’s controlled procedures. It must not be used to design, approve, certify or release a repair, determine airworthiness, or override an authorised engineering disposition.
If damage is outside approved limits or the applicable data is unclear, stop and obtain instructions from the type certificate holder, manufacturer or authorised engineering organisation through the proper channel.
Privacy Policy
The app may process sign-in identity and email, personal workshop records, uploaded photos, comments, optional supporting-source references, marketplace contact and advert details, and moderation information so it can provide account-specific records, owner review and public contributions. Device storage may keep offline content, favourites and your one-time legal acknowledgement.
Information is retained as needed to operate the service, protect it and preserve records you choose to save. Do not submit personal data about another person. The app does not claim to sell your personal information.
First-party usage analytics count page opens and feature activity in aggregate, together with broad device category, installed-app or domain use, online/offline status and two-letter country code. The system also counts one anonymous session start per browser tab. It does not assign or store a visitor or session identifier. Search words, photo contents, names, email addresses, IP addresses and precise locations are not stored in analytics. Link reports retain only the click type, public listing key and destination domain; they do not retain the clicked email address, phone number, complete destination URL or query string. Only the app owner can view the resulting totals.
Photos, comments and other uploads
You may upload content only when you own it or have permission to share it. Do not upload employer work cards, manufacturer drawings, customer information, export-controlled material, proprietary repair instructions, confidential data or content that violates another person’s rights.
Uploaded public content may be reviewed, edited for safety or clarity, rejected or removed by the owner. Image metadata may be removed during processing. Approval for display does not make an upload approved maintenance data.
Tool Marketplace terms
Tool Marketplace is an owner-moderated noticeboard that introduces advertisers and potential buyers. Aerostructures Toolkit is not the buyer, seller, agent, auctioneer, payment provider, escrow service, delivery company, inspector or guarantor. It does not take a fee or become a party to any enquiry, agreement, payment, delivery, return or dispute.
Advertisers must have the legal right to offer the item and must give accurate contact, price, location, condition, specification, ownership and known-defect information. Photographs for sale adverts must show the actual item. Stolen, counterfeit, unlawfully modified, recalled, unsafe, controlled, export-restricted or illegally offered items are prohibited, as are weapons and non-tool listings. The owner may edit, reject, suspend or remove any advert without guaranteeing that a review will identify fraud, defects or legal restrictions.
Buyers and sellers are responsible for verifying each other and the item before exchanging money or arranging delivery. Check identity, ownership, serial number, specification, condition, calibration, electrical or pneumatic rating, guards, accessories, compatibility and any certification required by law or company procedure. Use a traceable payment method, never rely on an advert as proof of airworthiness or serviceability, and do not use damaged or unverified tooling on aircraft work. Transactions and disputes must be resolved directly between the parties under the applicable law.
An approved advert publishes the advertiser’s name, email and any phone number they choose to provide. Advertisers consent to that publication when submitting and should request removal when an item is sold, found or withdrawn. Do not submit another person’s contact details without their permission.
Professional Exchange community rules
Professional Exchange is a public discussion area for short text messages and owner-approved photos. No account is required. Each new message receives a random anonymous professional number; this is not identity or qualification verification. Messages are user opinions and must never be treated as approved maintenance data, engineering authority or a substitute for current SRM, AMM, drawings and organisation procedures.
Do not post pornography or explicit sexual content, harassment, threats, discrimination, spam, personal contact details, proprietary repair data, employer-confidential material, export-controlled information or instructions that could encourage unsafe or unlawful work. Automated filters reject prohibited explicit content and contact details before publication. Messages that receive repeated reports are automatically removed from public view for owner review. The owner may hide, restore or permanently delete messages and replies to keep the area safe and relevant.
Discussion messages are visible to anyone, so do not share private or personal information. Abuse-prevention limits use a temporary pseudonymous request key; it is not displayed publicly. Visitors may attach a JPG, PNG or WebP image, but it remains hidden until the owner reviews and approves it. The owner can reject the photo or permanently delete the complete message. There are no private messages in Professional Exchange.
Sources, copyright and intellectual property
The toolkit uses original short summaries, general reference information and user-provided identifiers. Copyright, trademarks and source materials remain the property of their respective owners. Do not copy restricted manuals, drawings or substantial protected content into the app.
Where Updates or Jobs show an external item, verify the original source, publication date, recruiter or employer and official link. Aerostructures Toolkit is not the employer, recruiter, publisher or guarantor of those listings.
Changes to these terms
The app and these notices may be updated as features or requirements change. A revised acknowledgement may be shown when a material change requires your attention.
Account records and data deletion
You can delete individual personal Workshop records from your account. To request removal of other account data or a public upload, use the in-app feedback or contact channel and identify the record without sending additional controlled information.
